In accordance with COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, large public events will not be permitted in the Town of Braselton until July 10.
The annual Fourth of July fireworks and festival hosted annually by the Braselton Visitors Bureau Authority is rescheduled for Sept. 5, 2020. Neighborhoods are encouraged to organize bicycle and golf cart parades to celebrate on July 4.
“It was with great sadness that we postponed Braselton’s annual fireworks display. However, like several other cities in the Gwinnett Municipal Association, we decided that hosting 10,000 plus people for this event is a possible risk to public health,” Town Manager Jennifer Scott said.
The spring Braselton Antique and Artisan Festival is rescheduled for July 24-26, 2020, in Braselton Park. This open-air market hosts more than 300 vendors and 20,000 attendees, usually on the fourth weekends of April and October. More info available at www.vintagemarkets.net.
On June 27, the town will host a Movie Under the Stars on the Town Green, starting at 7 p.m. Visit https://www.facebook.com/braseltontowngreen/ for updates.
