Braselton council members Becky Richardson and Hardy Johnson earned certificates of achievement at the recent Georgia Municipal Association’s annual convention.
Richardson and Johnson completed a minimum of 72 units of credit from a list of required classes of the Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute and UGA’s Carl Vinson Institute. The training program consists of a series of more than sixty courses.
“These are outstanding achievements,” said GMA Executive Director Larry Hanson. “We commend Council members Richardson and Johnson for this accomplishment and for the dedication they’ve shown using this valuable resource to become more effective city officials.”
