Farmers Market Ushers in a Good Friday

Good Friday will usher in springtime weather and an abundance of good eats as the Braselton Farmers Market continues Friday, April 19, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM.

“We’ll welcome three first-time vendors,” said market manager, Peg Sheffield.  “Campground Farm, ME + TEA and Seven Sisters Scones will be joining the regular vendors, and we’re expecting seventeen this month offering a variety of goods and products.  Campground Farm will offer free-range chicken and duck eggs; ME + TEA sells blends of loose leaf teas and Seven Sisters Scones create gourmet sweet and savory scones.

“Our regular vendors always offer a nutritious variety of products which market patrons have really come to enjoy,” said Sheffield.   Breads, rolls, strawberries, fruit jams, peanuts, baked goods, praline pecans, beef, pork, vegetables, empanadas and sausages will be available.

Staged on the patio of the Braselton Brothers Store at 9924 Davis Street, ample free parking is available at the town’s new parking deck.  Follow Braselton Farmers Market on Facebook.
