Mission Statement:
The Braselton Library assists the public in their educational, informational and recreational pursuits through easy, friendly access to materials and services.

Vision Statement:

The Braselton Library, as an affiliate of the Piedmont Regional Library System and of PINES, the statewide library system, provides resources and services that enrich lives, inspire learning and inform minds while encouraging community and personal growth.

Inchworm Story Time
Wednesday, 10 a.m.

for infant to 3 years old

Stories, songs and crafts to explore and learn with your toddler or preschooler A learning experience and open play time to share with mother (or dad) and child!

Bookworm’s Story Time
Friday, 11:30 a.m.

for 4 years and up

Enjoy stories, crafts and snacks – especially good for homeschoolers!

Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library:

Come join the FRIENDS of the BRASELTON-WEST JACKSON LIBRARY.
FRIENDS provides vital support for the Library by bringing crucial library issues to the attention of the community and public officials, promoting public knowledge of the library resources and programs, and raising much needed monies for the purchase of materials and support of programs.

We currently have over 200 members and an active Board of Directors.  We have many programs throughout the year and operate the retail store and cafe located inside the Library.  Membership is only $10.00 per year, $100 lifetime.

“Bucks for Books”

There is currently a “Bucks for Books” campaign underway to raise money for books for the new Braselton Library. Forms are available at the Library or at Town Hall or you may download the application below.

Books for Sale:

The Library sells excess and duplicate books that have been donated on Better World Books. To purchase from Better World Books, please go to http://www.betterworld.com.


Library Legacy

Other services provided by the Library:

The Library staff will gladly notarize documents at no charge.
State and federal tax forms are provided at no cost during the appropriate time.
There is a small charge for faxing, printing, copying of documents.
There are currently eleven internet computers plus the kids computer available at no cost for community use.

The library is located at 132 West Broadway (Highway 124) just west of the intersection of Highways 124 and 53.
