What codes are enforced in Braselton?
The latest codes as adopted and amended by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. You may view the list of codes and download the current Georgia amendments at

Is there a plan review fee for residential plans?
No.
What about commercial plans?
Yes.
Is there a 24 hour notice required prior to an inspection?
No. The Department strives to provide same day service; however, this is our goal and not policy. There may be times when same day service is not possible.
What do I need to do to comply with the new Georgia State Energy Code?
You may use any one of the methods listed in Chapter 6 of the 2003 Georgia State Energy Code Amendments for Type A-1 residential buildings. For all other types of buildings see the code requirements.
